Mekong Delta O/N Hotel

DAY 1: HCM CITY -  BEN TRE - CAN THO (L/D)

Depart from your hotel at 08:00, it takes only 2 hours pleasant drive to Ben Tre province crossing Rach Mieu bridge. On arrival in Hung Vuong Pier, hop on a motorized boat on Ben Tre river – one of tributaries of Mekong river while sight-seeing lively activities along river as fishing, water transferring. Our first stop is at brickwork to see how to make bricks traditionally by printing and baking. Continue to visit one of plenty of coconut processing workshops located along canal. Return to the boat and go through natural scissors creeks to a village and see some local houses making sleeping mats and enjoying some fruits.
Take a motorized cart (tuk tuk) or bicycle on shady paths, pass by green rice fields and vegetable plains to be able to touch on really life and find out about tropical culture from peasants.
Lunch at a Local restaurant
After lunch, we take a rowing-boat along beautiful water palm creek before meeting up the motorized boat and transfer you back to the pier. Then transfer by road to Can Tho – Capital of Mekong Delta

DAY 2: CAN THO - CAI RANG - HCM CITY (B/L)

Early morning cruise along the small and picturesque tributaries by a rowing boat, we will see the Cai Rang Floating Market- the busiest but nicest one with heaps of rowing boats. See the beautiful scenery and daily activities of the locals. Disembark at Ninh Kieu quay, visit Binh Thuy Ancient house before heading back Saigon

DAY 1: HCM CITY - MY THO - BEN TRE - CHAU DOC (L/D)

 8: 00 AM Pick up at your hotel in Go Chi Minh City (to be advised). Depart for My Tho .Take a boat ride along the river , view the stilt houses and the fruit plantation along the river bank. Proceed to Tortoise island and have lunch in the orchard. Enjoy a boat ride through Tan Thach natural canal in Ben Tre, cruising under the shadow of the water coconut trees. Visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle. Enjoy a rowing boat ride along the creeks. After trekking through the fruit plantation, village. Proceed to Chau Doc. Check in on arrival. Visit the Sam Mountain and the caved pagoda, Enjoy the sunset over the Vietnamese-Cambodian Frontier. Dinner on guest’s account. Overnight at your chosen hotel in Chau Doc

DAY 2: CHAU DOC - TRA SU SANCTUARY - CAN THO (L/D)

Breakfast at your hotel. Take a motor boat trip to see the floating fish farm and the floating village. Visit the local Cham minority village in their traditional weaving village. Continue the tour to visit Tra Su, getting to the wild birds Sanctuary , cruising smoothly with small boats to discover the arrays of splendid canals deep into the forest ,watching storks ,cranes and other tropical birds . Back to Chau Doc for Lunch. Depart for Can Tho .Hotel check in . Dinner on Guest’s account. Overnight in your proposed hotel in Can Tho.

DAY 3: CAN THO - HO CHI MINH CITY (L/D)

After breakfast, take the morning boat trip to visit the Phong Dien floating market which is at its liveliest at this time of day. Keep cruising through the small channels system, stopping off to visit a rice noodle making village. Experience the “Monkey Bridge” in the Delta. Visit a second floating market (Cai Rang). Break for lunch. Return to Ho Chi Minh City. End of services.
