DAY 1: ARRIVAL HANOI (NO MEAL)

You are arrival at our thousand years Capital – Hanoi city. Our driver will welcome you at the NoiBai airport and then be transferred to your hotel in the center of city.
Free time to visit Ha Noi Old Quarter.

 

DAY 2: HANOI - TU LE - MU CANG CHAI (B/L/D)

8.00 am our guide and driver pick you up at hotel in Hanoi city and drive you to west of Hanoi following the national way - No.32 to Nghia Lo district of Yen Bai province.
Have a lunch at local restaurant in Nghia Lo. Then keep on driving up to Mu Cang Chai. We stop- over in Tu Le for visiting and admire of the imposing landscape of mountains and valleys and the beautiful rice terrace filed of this area – Tu Le, Van Chan district.
Go on driving over Khau Pha Pass – one of the most scenic passes of Vietnam where heaven and earth meet, you will stop for rest, sightseeing, photographing at Khau Pha Pass – the longest pass with the length of 32km and the height of 2100m. From here, you will feel the beauty of Cao Pha valley and some of hill tribe village from above.
Dinner and overnight at homestay in Mu Cang Chai Ecolodge.

 

DAY 3: MU CANG CHAI - SAPA (B/L/D)

After breakfast, we get a transfer to a trekking point for a half day trekking to enjoy Vietnam’s national rice terrace heritage of Mu Cang Chai. Our trek starts from Che Cu Nha commune to La Pan Tan commune (It’s about 13 km). This trek will definitely offer us a good opportunity to see the main spots and admire the beauty of amazing rice terraces that Mu Cang Chai has to offer. We will also be able to visit a few villages of the H’mong hill tribe scattered in the area.
Have lunch at restaurant in Mu Cang Chai, then keep on driving up to Sapa town, scenic drive passing some beautiful mountain pass, through wonderful landmarks such as Than Uyen, Tan Uyen, Tam Duong before reaching to Sapa. Check in your hotel and rest

 

DAY 4: LAO CHAI - TA VAN VILLAGE - HANOI

Ready for trek to Lao Chai village and Tavan village. This part offers spectacular scenery of the highest part of Hoang Lien Son mountain range and Fanxipan Peak can be seen in a nice day. Crossing the river by a suspension bridge you will challenge your feet uphill to Y Linh Ho village. Here you will visit some H’mong families, watch them doing their daily works. After picnic lunch, the trail continues up and down hill for about 2 hours as you reach to Lao Chai, a large village of the H’mong and then follows the river bank to Ta Van of the Zay people for visiting local homes, village schools, etc. You will enjoy much your cultural discovery of local ethnic peoples as well as breathtaking scenery of the Muong Hoa valley.
3:30 We leaving at our hotel for your depart to Hanoi.
9:30 Pm arriving back your hotel. Tour finished.

 

DAY 5: HANOI - NINH BINH (B/L)

8:00 pick up at your hotel and head out for Ninh Binh (2 hours driving). There is a beautiful roadside scenery on the way. Arriving in Ninh Binh province, pay a visit to Hoa Lu – the ancient Royal Capital of Vietnam. Continue to Tam Coc and have lunch at a nice restaurant before boarding a small sampan to visit Tam Coc which means literally “Three Caves”. With Halong type views of majestic limestone cliffs and mysterious yet inviting caves, as well as countryside sights like peaceful streams, rice paddies and deserted green fields, Tam Coc really has it all. Return to Hanoi late afternoon.

 

DAY 6: HANOI - HALONG BAY (B/L/D)

8:00 pick up at your hotel, depart for Halong bay (3.5 hours). On the way to Halong city enjoy the journey through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta and the scenery of rice fields, water buffalo and everyday Vietnamese village life. 11.45 Arrive in Halong, aboard a traditional junk, lunch is served while the boat cruises the bay to enjoy the beautiful limestone seascape with Fighting cock, Dog Rock and Incense Burner islets. After visiting Amazing cave we stop at a floating house and go kayaking to Luon cave to enjoy the quiet atmosphere of the bay.

 

DAY 7: HALONG BAY - HANOI (B/L)

Sunrise breakfast and cruise around the clear & emerald water to another part of Halong bay with a close up view of stunning limestone peaks, keeping on another side toward Halong harbor. Enjoy the lunch (or brunch) on board and enjoy the rest of the boat trip. Disembark at Halong dock, have short break before en route to Hanoi.
