Mai Chau on the height of 1000m at water level. From the top of Thung Nhuoi mountain pass and Vang valley, Mai Chau comes up to your sight looping itself among numerous mountains and hills. Mountain villages with piled houses will gradually appear in different height along mountain slopesr. Rice fields are green and fresh like a girl in her prime of youth, and shiny in harvest season.

DAY 1: HANOI - MAI CHAU VALLEY (L/D)

Depart from Hanoi to Mai Chau – an idyllic valley home of

many hill tribes including the Dzao, Muong and Thai. Arrive in Mai Chau around noon, check in your room and enjoy lunch.

In the afternoon: Explore Mai Chau beautiful ethnic villages including Na Thia, Nhot, Pom Coong, Lac and Chieng Chau villageson foot.

Be welcomed by the friendly local people, talk with them and discover their traditional culture. Total walking time is around 2.5– 3 hours on flat village paths. Take it all in: the spectacular scenery of Mai Chau and the relaxed rhythm of local life. Back to Mai Chau for dinner. Enjoy a traditional dance show and taste Ruou Can, a local rice wine.

DAY 2: MAI CHAU VALLEY - HANOI (B/L)

Breakfast at hotel and then to explore Mai Chau beautiful ethnic villages including Na Tang, Cha Long, Tong Đau, Van villages, Be welcomed by the friendly local people, talk with them and discover their traditional culture.

Total cycling time is around 2 –3 hours on flat villagepaths. Back to Mai Chau Ecolodge for relaxing. Check out around 12.pm Have lunch and transfer back to Hanoi.

End of the tour.

DAY 2: MAI CHAU - PU LUONG - MAI CHAU (B/L/D)

Enjoy breakfast then transfer by car to Hang Kia (45 minutes), passing villages of Muong and Dzao tribal groups. Stop on the way to visit Pa Co and Xa Linh communes, home to H’mong people with their interesting ethnic market (every Sunday morning in Xa Linh). Arrive in Hang Kia, a typical H’mong village, peacefully nestled in a small valley at 1200m altitude. Have lunch at a local house then walk to discover the community. Transfer back to Mai Chau around 14.pm.

DAY 3: MAI CHAU - HANOI (L/D)

Breakfast at hotel and then cycle to explore Mai Chau beautiful ethnic villages including Na Tang, Cha Long, Tòng Đậu, Van villages. Bewelcomed by the friendly local people, talk with them and discover their traditional culture. Total cycling time is around 2 –3 hours on flat village paths. Back to Mai Chau Ecolodge for relaxing. Check out around 12.pm. Have lunchand transfer back to Hanoi.
